An experienced Janus member will be assigned to you at the beginning of your traineeship and will assist you as your mentor. With his help, you will have an easy start at Janus and you will be supported in every respect when it comes to questions, challenges and first successes.
Our national umbrella organization, the Confederation of German Junior Enterprises (BDSU), offers you workshops and training courses that will bring you great added value in your studies and career.
Expand your personal and professional network already during your studies!
At BDSU congresses you will get to know other student management consultancies from all over Germany with whom you can exchange experiences. The same applies to events organized by the international umbrella organization JEE, the Junior Enterprises Europe, where you can also expand your network on an international level.
We give you the opportunity to get to know regional and supra-regional companies and thus expand your professional network. We are in close contact with well-known companies that are among the most attractive management consultancies in Lower Saxony and Germany. You will work in external and remunerated projects and gain valuable practical experience.
You will also network with our curators Deloitte, 67rockwell and Consileon as well as our partner MLP. Close cooperation with our curators enables us to offer case studies and workshops that will provide you with further training. This is how you learn from experienced consultants.
In addition to external training, we also offer a wide range of internal training opportunities. Our internal workshops range from Excel training to presentation technique training. You will also take part in our teambuilding weekend at the beginning of your traineeship, which will prepare you for your future project work.

Chairman of the board
Member of the Board for PR & Network
The public sector division represents the association in society, especially in the Hanover region. The associated “Networks” and “Public Relations” departments primarily pursue the intention of branding Janus Consultants as regional consulting partners for companies and as valuable cooperation partners for institutions. The division is in permanent contact with our umbrella organizations (BDSU and the JADE Network), our curators, the press and our alumni association. To spread the idea of student management consulting and the associated values, the responsible persons continuously develop strategies and campaigns in order to achieve the set goals.
Currently, the Member of the Board for Public Affairs is at the same time the Chairman of the Board. In addition to managing the division, his duties also include coordinating the entire board. He also directs the work of the board members and moderates the association meetings and general meetings.
He is also responsible for the strategic and long-term orientation of Janus Consultants.
Member of the Board for Internal Affairs
Our internal department is responsible for the recruiting of new motivated members, their further education and the organization of association activities that strengthen the cohesion. This division is particularly important for our association as our members define Janus Consultants. Therefore, we also organize events that strengthen teambuilding. We have made it our task to provide our members with the necessary development.
Member of the Board for External Affairs
The External division deals with customer acquisition, customer care and regular analysis of the market environment. All acquisition meetings up to the administration of enterprise contacts are under its responsibility. The external division pursues the goal of expanding our network of companies.
There are staff units for each of these three core tasks, which manage their field independently and on their own responsibility. During the project process, there is a Market Manager, a Sales Manager, and an Account Manager. Together with the head of the department, they are the executive core of the division.
The External Affairs Board is responsible for the strategic work and management of the business unit. It sets the strategic direction and takes up the suggestions and ideas of the business unit and the association.
Member of the Board for Technical Management
The technical department continuously takes care of ensuring the quality and infrastructure of our association. Janus Consultants consolidates its quality every year through the audits of our German umbrella organization, the BDSU, which is based on the DIN EN ISO 9001 standard. We attach great importance to compliance with our standards and those of the BDSU.
Therefore, this area ensures the quality of the association through processes, monitoring, and audits. In addition, we are one of the few student management consultancies that have passed the audit for 10 years straight.
Furthermore, the digital area is also subject to this field. We are the only student management consultancy to independently develop tools and web apps for our members and maintain the IT infrastructure of Janus.
Our IT field offers our customers a wide range of software development and implementation services and is therefore of great importance to our association and our customers.
